Everyone loves a wedding, and so do Les Conteurs!

Music can be an important part of your big day and we’re happy to help, whether it is simply singing along with the hymns,  providing additional music as part of the service or singing during the signing of the register. We have even sung as a bride walked up the aisle!
It is customary for most weddings to have two or three hymns, however  your guests may not be regular church-goers and may therefore either not know the hymns or won’t feel comfortable with singing them.  Having a choir to lead them can avoid any awkward silences. Sometimes we have been asked to sing a sacred piece in place of a hymn and have some lovely arrangements based around hymns which may be appropriate.
Should you like some music during the signing of the register then usually two songs will give you plenty of time to get the paperwork and photographs done. Pieces in our repertoire which are often requested include –

    Can You Feel the Love Tonight
    A Thousand Years
    You Raise Me Up
    Close to You

Should you wish to have a chat about whether we can help with your special day then please contact our Musical Director, Annette Blanchet.  Fees start at £300 and all monies raised from weddings are put into choir funds to help us meet our running expenses such as the purchase of music and uniforms.
